Liam McCarthy

Liam McCarthy is an award-winning playwright who has worked for several theatre companies, venues and festivals in Ireland and across Europe. He has a particular interest in creating inclusive arts events for young people and their families. Liam is curator of the Bualadh Bos Children's Festival, Ireland. He is on residency at the CCI to reflect on his theatre practice, with particular emphasis on his work for young audiences. Projects include his plays Fergal (a play about the importance of solitude for 4- 8 year olds) and The Chandelier.
