Gary Farrelly

Based in Brussels, visual artist and educator Gary Farrelly is researching into infrastructure, bureaucracy and architectures of power. His work encompasses drawing, textiles, performance, publishing, installation and experimental radio. The main engine of his practice is a performative duo called ‘Office for Joint Administrative Intelligence’ with German artist Chris Dreier, which takes the form of a para-intelligence agency operating between Brussels and Berlin. Mimicking managerial functions and expertise is cleverly amalgamated with unhinged and fanatical oratory.

His residency at CCI is a collaboration with the Centre Wallonie-Bruxelles and will culminate in a performance early in the Spring.
