On the occasion of the opening of Anita Groener's exhibition To the Edge of Your World, our artists in residence offer you a unique evening combining projections, performances, readings and concerts.

The evening begins at 5:30pm with a conversation between the artist Anita Groener and Deirdre O’Mahony.

At 6:30pm, choreographer and dancer Cindy Cummings performs in the exhibition room in response to the Anita Groener’s work. Gentleman Juggler, Will Flanagan (Alchemy Arts), then welcomes you to the courtyard with contemporary circus acts.

At 7pm, dancer and performer Celina Muldoon presents a film from her exhibition Kurnugia NOW!. The result of a project begun in 2020, this exhibition examines the recurring connections between climate change and anxiety, and how this shapes the development of our identity.

At 7:30pm, Larissa O'Grady, fiddler and member of the Irish contemporary music group Crash Ensemble, plays a number of pieces by Irish composers in the chapel.

To close the evening, writer Andrea Carter reads from her short story The Lamb at 8:00 pm and is followed at 8:20pm by jazz singer and songwriter Sue Rynhart who performs songs from her latest album and presents her short film You, Me or the Wallpaper (a commission by IMC and Moving on Music).
