Opening night

The Centre CultureI Irlandais is delighted to launch two exhibitions this evening as part of their extensive Cultural Programme for Ireland’s EU Presidency!

The thought-provoking group exhibition Everyone Should Have a Home presents multi-disciplinary work by more than ten contemporary artists to explore issues relating to the housing crisis in Ireland. Sculpture, film, painting, photography, cheeses cultivated from household mould… as well as proposals for innovative 21st-century housing that combines respect for the environment and its inhabitants.

On the occasion of the 300th anniversary of the publication of Gulliver’s Travels, the CCI is partnering with Marsh’s Library in Dublin to present Gulliver 300 in our Old Library. Imagined as both a heritage and contemporary experience, the exhibition is accompanied online by a bilingual virtual version, with access to numerous digital resources.
