St Patrick’s Festival

Saint Patrick’s Day has become much more than Ireland’s national day with celebrations worldwide and the ‘Greening’ of well-known monuments in all sorts of places. In Paris, Centre Culturel Irlandais is delighted to welcome all ages and nationalities for a weekend of festivities including traditional music concerts, a new exhibition, street performances and the Saint Patrick’s Day parade!

Saturday 16 March, 7.30pm, reservation recommended - €15 (€12 for students and unemployed)
Chapel Session - Strung’s sound radiates with originality and understated energy. This evening, it will fill the chapel as they play captivating pieces from their first album recorded in 2016.

Sunday 17 March, from noon to 5pm, admission free
St Patrick’s Family Day - From the antics of an eccentric Italian chef to the acrobatics of Mr H, circus and street theatre will be on the menu for all to enjoy with of course the Saint Patrick’s Day parade (departs 1pm), face-painting and foodtrucks!

Sunday 17 March, 7.30pm, reservation recommended - €15 (€12 for students and unemployed)
Chapel Session - Ye Vagabonds’ rich harmonies nod to the 1960’s folk revival while encompassing influences from Irish traditional music and Appalachian singing.

Monday 18 March, 7.30pm, reservation recommended - €20
Concert - The instrumental prowess and captivating vocals of Altan will make this an exhilarating finale to our Saint Patrick’s festival.
