“Wilfully convoluted” sculpture, collage and painting combine with video work in this exhibition by Sam Keogh that explores underground (hi)stories of London.
In response to the exhibition, the Poetry Jukebox will be inaugurated this evening at 5.30pm with the poet Maria McManus. The Poetry Jukebox invites you to listen to poems about the environment and climate change (until 27 March).
At 6.30pm, Sam Keogh will present his work (admission free, reservation recommended here). The opening will be followed by an afterparty at 8pm with music by electro artist Daithí.
The vernissage will also serve as the launch of ‘Impossible Knotworm’, a short book which squirms around similar themes, published by Sharon Kivland’s Ma Bibliothèque press. A limited number of signed copies will be available to buy on the night and others are available to order here.
Our current artists in residence Cecilia Danell and Joy Gerard will open their studio (in the courtyard) to the public during the exhibition opening.
