Skippy Dies is Paul Murray’s second novel. At Seabrook College Skippy and his classmates share the same dreams and disappointments as all Irish adolescents who lived through the era of the Celtic Tiger. As the traditional Hallowe’en ball approaches, they anticipate at last meeting the girls from St Brigid’s. This outstanding novel was short-listed for both the Man Booker Prize and the Costa Novel Award in 2010.
