For ten years now our Gaulín Traditional Singers’ Club has been a special meeting place and platform for people who enjoy singing and listening to traditional song.

On the eve of her concert with Niall Vallely in CCI’s chapel, we welcome one of Ireland’s best known folk singers, Karan Casey. Over the last two and a half decades she has released no less than twelve albums, the critically acclaimed Nine Apples of Gold being the most recent in 2023, as well as collaborating with artists and groups such as The Chieftains, The Dubliners, Solas, Pauline Scanlon… and performing across the globe. Tonight she will lead the Gaulín with a number of traditional songs a capella.
