Opening with a conversation with Benjamin Black (aka John Banville) and presenting chaired discussions and readings with some of Ireland’s finest crime writers, Noir Emeraude embraces themes such as the ethics of basing novels on true crimes, the growth of the psychological thriller and Ireland as a backdrop for crime fiction.
