Nuit de la littérature 2022 is back ‘in the flesh’! Fifteen authors from fifteen countries including Cameroon, Portugal, Romania and Taiwan are taking over different spaces in the CCI for an evening of international readings.

Ireland’s invited author is Dermot Bolger, currently in residence at the CCI. Tonight, he reads from his latest novel An Ark of Light, a wonderful portrait of Irishwoman Eva Fitzgerald who in the 1950s sheds all family ties to pursue a life lived on her own terms, from Dublin to colonial Kenya via Morocco before returning eventually to her homeland.

During the evening, virtuoso fiddler Colm Mac Con Iomaire will play from his evocative repertoire of traditional music.

La Nuit de la littérature is organised by the Forum des Instituts Culturels Etrangers à Paris (FICEP). The full programme of reading together with timings and other details: www.ficep.info
