Brexit: Ireland, Britain and the Arts in the Years Ahead

Many Irish artists rely on showing their work in the UK. In turn, the European Union makes up over half of all international activity in the British arts sector and is an important source of funding while the implications for Brexit on Northern Ireland’s cultural sector could make co-production and co-funding between agencies North and South of the Border impossible. These complexities will be discussed by Clymene Christoforou, Co-Director of ISIS Arts in Newcastle; Tom Creed, Dublin-based theatre and opera director, Noel Kelly, Director of Visual Artists Ireland and journalist Shona Murray (chair).
