Ye Vagabonds

Based in Carlow, the MacGloinn brothers have left their mark on the acoustic Irish folk scene with their sumptuous harmonies, influenced by traditional music, as well as their emotive and sincere performances. Over the last few years, the duo have come completely into their own with invitations to play at the Other Voices showcase, Electric Picnic and even for President Michael D. Higgins himself. Following The Hare’s Lament, which won them no less than three RTE Radio 1 Folk Awards in 2019 (Traditional Music, Band and Album of the Year), Brían and Diarmuid return to the CCI to present their latest compositions.
