Writer’s Choice

The CCI in partnership with the Royal Irish Academy of Music presents a special musical event entitled Writer’s Choice. It will see prizewinning musicians perform a fascinating selection of musical works that have inspired, captivated or hold special meaning for some of Ireland’s finest writers including Sebastian Barry, Roddy Doyle, Jennifer Johnston, Anne Enright, Eiléan Ní Chuilleanáin and Joseph O’Connor. Works by Brahms, Bach, Mozart as well as traditional songs will be performed by pianist Alexander Bernstein, bass-baritone Robert McAllister, violinist Clare Austen and RIAM alumnus cellist Christopher Ellis, a student of the prestigious Conservatoire de Paris.
