Dramatic reading of the French translation

Whistling Psyche
de Sebastian Barry

Sebastian Barry's work is among the most honest and beautiful of recent Irish writing - his voice embodies courage and mines the depths of the Irish character and history. In this dramatic reading, his play Whistling Psyche (Faber and Faber) is read in French under the direction of translator Isabelle Famchon. It was first performed at the Almeida Theatre, London on May 12, 2004 (directed by Robert Delamere with Kathryn Hunter and Claire Bloom).
