Old Library Visit

This guided visit of the Old Library is organised to co-incide with Library Ireland Week which takes place all over Ireland from 11 to 16 November. One of the few surviving libraries of the many colleges, convents and monasteries which were situated in the Montagne-Sainte-Geneviève area of Paris until the end of the 18th century, its collection has undergone extensive restoration work over the last few years. This visit provides a further opportunity to see the treasures of the Old Library - its three illuminated manuscripts dating from c.1500.
