A voice for… "Les petites chaises rouges"
- Saturday 14 January 2017

Nuit de la Lecture (Reading Night) is being launched this evening all over France by the Ministry of Culture and Communication. CCI is delighted to be taking part in this nationwide event with a reading of passages from celebrated novelist Edna O’Brien’s most recent book. Public reader Hélène Lanscotte, a member of La Voie des Livres, will read from The Little Red Chairs which has just been published in French translation by Sabine Wespieser Editeur. A chilling masterpiece, as The Guardian describes it, in which the inhabitants of small-town Cloonoila fall under the spell of a professed poet, exile, visionary and therapist…
Books on sale courtesy of L’Arbre du Voyageur bookshop.
