Un Salon par Mick O'Dea

Mick O'Dea Bryan DelaneyMick O'Dea (Royal Hibernian Academy) is in residence at the Centre Culturel Irlandais from September to December 2006.

A renowned portrait and still-life painter, O'Dea captures the essence of people, revealing character and experience; equally, his representations of places are always true to their atmosphere.

For this project, O'Dea will respond to life in Paris and to the Centre Culturel Irlandais during this time of celebration of Beckett's centenary, culminating with this Salon of People, Places, Things. In a homage to Gustave Courbet, this will be O'Dea's contemporary 'slice of time'.
