Un grossier fac-similé du mystère

Irish-American author Fitz-James O’Brien (1828-1862) was one of the first to address the theme of invisibility in his writing. An interdisciplinary project between the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs (ENSAD) and Paris 3-Sorbonne Nouvelle has been developed around What was it? A Mystery, a ground-breaking tale in the world of English language science fiction. Each student has interpreted this theme of invisibility in their own sphere – literary or artistic. This exhibition at the Centre Culturel Irlandais presents works by the students at ENSAD and is complemented by a conference at the Bibliothèque Sainte-Barbe on 15 May.
