The Live Drawing Project 2021

Do take part in this fun interactive drawing installation organised as part of our Opening evening in conjunction with Culture Night and the Embassy of France in Ireland.

The Live Drawing Project is a real-time digital journey bringing Ireland and France together to share in an interactive drawing session. CCI will be video projecting drawings made by you, using your phone as a drawing pad, onto the wall of our lecture room as well as on-line. Wherever you are, you can draw with all the other participants in France and Ireland (Rio, Algiers or even Tokyo!) and watch your creations appearing live together!! With our artists in residence special guests Tomm Moore (Cartoon Saloon co-founder and animator of Brendan of Kells), Cecilia Danell and Eamon O'Kane. Our partner, the Embassy of France in Ireland will be simultaneously showcasing the live drawings on the wall of the in Dublin. Great for adults and kids alike, do join us at CCI or from the comfort of your home.

In Paris, drawings will be visible at CCI from 6.30pm to 9pm local French time; at the National Gallery in Dublin, from 5pm to 11pm. You can therefore carry on drawing until 11pm!
