Over the last decade, filmmaker Mark McLoughlin has painstakingly captured the story of painter Brian Maguire.

"This is the story of an amazing individual - he has lived life right on the edge, on the frontline, telling the real story of the world through his powerful artworks. He has spent years meeting people living on the fringes of society and has worked in prisons all over the world. He is loved by many for the opportunities he has given them in life. He has brought his artworks to UN Headquarters in New York and the European Parliament to bring attention to what he calls the victims of capitalism. The end point of this film is the work we did in the Arizona Desert finding the locations of migrants who have died on the last leg of their journey to find the American dream."

The documentary will be followed by a discussion between the artist, the director and art critic Marc Donnadieu.
