The Centre Culturel Irlandais is one of the oldest members of FICEP (Forum des instituts culturels étrangers à Paris or Forum of Foreign Cultural Institutes in Paris) which was set up 18 years ago as an arena for multilateral reflection on culture and the conditions needed for the arts to thrive in a globalized context.
Addressing pressing questions and issues is just as vital as ever given the pandemic crisis of 2020 which led to much of the world coming to a halt and to the further weakening of an already troubled sector.
What future for culture in an uncertain world?
FICEP is organising 3 international round tables that will take stock of the current situation of the cultural sector across the world as well as highlighting the many initiatives that have emerged in recent months.
Join a panel of cultural experts including practitioners and professionals from key institutions, four of which are Irish, via the Zoom platform on Tuesday 29, Wednesday 30 September and Thursday 1 October.
PROGRAMME :
Round table 1: New Experiences and Institutional Changes: Future Practice
Tuesday 29 September at 3pm (local time GMT +1)
Round table 2: Culture’s Place in Society and Public Policies during the Crisis.
