St Brigid’s Day
An Evening of Words & Music
Ireland now marks the feast day of Brigid with a public holiday. The CCI invites you to celebrate this Celtic goddess and patron saint associated with fertility, healing and poetry, and join us for a performance of music and words presented by three talented women artists. A rising star on the Irish music scene, Lucy Rice aka Last Apollo fills the chapel with indie-pop from her first EP ‘Ordinary Matter’.
She is joined by our current writers in residence, poet Stephanie Conn and author/journalist Caelainn Hogan, whose readings from their work are weaved throughout this inspiring evening.
