World War II: cruelty made manifest

Jackie Blackman will talk on Samuel Beckett’s early post-war responses to the cruelty of World War II referencing French cultural contexts. A scholar of the Irish Research Council of Humanities and Social Sciences (IRCHSS), Blackman currently lectures in Beckett studies at Trinity College Dublin.
