Roy Foster "Yeats, Ireland and Europe"

A well-known cultural commentator and critic, Roy Foster is Carroll Professor of Irish History at Hertford College, University of Oxford. He is the author of many books on the political, social, cultural and literary history of Ireland, and a two-volume authorized biography of W. B. Yeats. His most recent work concerns social and political change in Ireland in the late twentieth century. He will explore Yeats’ links with important historic events in Ireland and Europe.
