In the presence of director Paddy Breathnach and Karin Fischer, Professor of Irish and British Studies at Orléans University

Rosie Davis, her husband and their four children find themselves homeless after their landlord sells their house. Over the next 36 hours, the couple desperately search for a place to live while trying to shield the kids from the reality of the situation.

This powerful and moving drama written by Roddy Doyle shows the extraordinary resilience of a Dublin mother and the understated but powerful connection among her family members.

In December 2019, Rosie Davis was awarded first prize at the French Film Festival "La pauvreté sans clichés", organised by the NGO ATD Fourth World, which is dedicated to films about poverty and social issues.
