« Une ville finit par être une personne », wrote Victor Hugo in Legend of the Centuries. The annual festival Lire en Fête has as its theme this year the celebration of our literary heritage and the relationship between authors and environments - « Une ville, une oeuvre ». In the context of this and to mark the fifth anniversary of the Centre Culturel Irlandais five Irish writers have been invited to the CCI : Jennifer Johnston, Nuala Ni Dhomhnaill, Mary O'Malley, Anne Haverty et Gina Moxley.
