Filmmaker in residence, Eoin Heaney presents Turning. Inspired by the work of Eadweard Muybridge, Turning is a dance film exploring the cyclical nature and repetitive behavior of contemporary Irish society. Hypnotic and fleshy, the film asserts a mixture of natural, anatomical beauty with scientific featurelessness as its backdrop. During his residency at CCI, he will develop a new project based upon the work of Lucien Bull, the Irish born pioneer of slow motion cinematography.
