Rencontre with E. Tracy Grinnell
This year’s Paris Writer’s Residency appointment is E. Tracy Grinnell. Join us this evening when she reads from her latest book of poetry, Hell Figures (Nightboat Books), alongside new work conceived as a sequel to this earlier project and bridged by the afterword to Hell Figures: “between the figures & the elsewhere: notation as relation.”
Grinnell will also discuss the ways in which poetics inform her editorial and publishing work as director of Litmus Press in Brooklyn, New York. Dedicated to innovative poetry, prose and cross-genre writing, as well as plays and collaborations written in English and in translation, the publishing house has a reputation for supporting unheard voices.
This Paris Writer’s Residency is jointly supported by the American University of Paris, the CCI and the University of Kent Paris School of Arts and Culture.
