Discussion with Brokentalkers

Brokentalkers has been described as “one of Ireland’s most fearless and path-breaking theatre companies". Founded in 2001, the co-directors Feidlim Cannon and Gary Keegan are in Paris for the performance of their latest production The Examination at the Théâtre de la Ville/ Les Abbesses. Tonight they will discuss how the company explores new forms that challenge traditional text-based plays. Performed by stand-up comedian and former prisoner Willie White, The Examination is a documentary piece exploring mental health and human rights in the prison system in both the UK and Ireland.
