Winner of the Performance Award created in memory of the director, producer and scriptwriter Romilly Walton-Masters, Zoe Ní Riordáin presents an experimental performance, Recovery, at Centre Culturel Irlandais. Combining twelve original pop-styled songs with contemporary choreography, this moving portrait of a fractured modern family deals with life after a crisis. This meditation invites us, in near-spiritual fashion, to reflect on our own experience of family and the many forms that recovery takes. Distinctly Irish, its references are truly universal.
