Open days at the Centre Culturel Irlandais

Guided tours of the Old Library of the Irish College including presentation of its treasures – three illuminated manuscripts dating from c.1500.

Entrance free : the artist Martine Peyre will demonstrate the different stages and techniques involved in creating illuminated manuscripts; you may also visit the exhibition Lire plume à la main (a selection of works from the Old Library in which readers, throughout the centuries, have left hand-written marginal notes); and AN tIMEALL – Peintures, an exhibition of work by Sinéad Ní Mhaonaigh.

Saint Patrick’s chapel and the Médiathèque are open to all.
