This is our second annual "fête littéraire" with a special tribute to John Montague who celebrates his 80th year. One of Ireland’s best known contemporary poets, John Montague has published numerous volumes of poems as well as two collections of novels and two volumes of his memoirs. Correspondent in Paris for The Irish Times during the 1960s, he came to know Samuel Beckett and Claude Esteban whose poems he has translated into English.
