Pierre Chabert et Samuel Beckett : Une rencontre

  • in French

These two evening screenings are a tribute to the great Pierre Chabert, who died in 2009. Chabert met Samuel Beckett in the 1960s, marking the start of a notable collaboration and a long friendship. For Chabert, Beckett was a master; while the latter saw in him a wonderful interpreter of his work. In the later years of their collaboration, Chabert became one of Beckett’s favourite directors.
