Four of his latest works are inhabiting the Centre Culturel Irlandais for the whole period of the 10 year celebrations: Nuns, a very contemplative piece, is installed on the steps leading to the cellars. His gigantic pink doll’s House, with its unexpected interior, interacts with the architecture of the courtyard; it stands near an enormous toy Car, driven by a teddy bear, and Manhole, a discreet piece placed at ground level. His work reflects, in a very personal way, his own emotions and an identification with the lonely, the misfits and the unwanted of society. The carnival of modern life he presents has its shadows and cruel spots, which may easily be missed behind a colourful vitality.
