Paris l’été au CCI
CCI is delighted to welcome the Festival Paris l’été back to our courtyard. This Parisian summer festival has been attracting audiences to strange and wonderful venues around the capital for nearly thirty years. Three different top-notch events take place here: open-air theatre, readings and a live broadcast from the Festival d’Avignon.
Theatre: Figaro
by the collectif Marius, 19-21 July, 7pm (25€ paëlla included, reservation necessary)
This acclaimed Belgian theatre company has created a clever adaptation of the Barber of Seville and the Marriage of Figaro by Beaumarchais.
Readings: Confesse
19-21 July (admission free, reservation necessary)
Based on an original idea by Sébastien Gindre, this bookseller’s box takes up residence in CCI’s courtyard for a few days. It is not so much we who are asked to make a confession as the box that spouts wonderfully surprising texts!
Live screenings: Le Festival d’Avignon in Paris
23 and 24 July (admission free, reservation necessary)
Settle down in a deckchair and enjoy broadcasts of Thyeste by Seneca, directed by Thomas Jolly (23 July), and the concert Ici-bas - Les mélodies de Gabriel Fauré (24 July, live).
