Following the success of Distant Music in 2013, Cinémorphe returns with their new immersive site-specific theatre experience based on an original concept by Romilly Walton Masters. The Centre Culturel Irlandais will be transformed into Dublin and France 1916.
Inspired by historical events, ancient mythologies and the epic nature of human conflict, the performance follows the stories of two Dublin brothers and their divergent journeys, leading up to the explosive events that unfolded in the spring and summer of 1916. Take part in this incisive exploration of rebellion, war, survival and compassion.
Cinémorphe is an international performance company based in Paris which consists of artists from all disciplines: actors, dancers, musicians, video and radio artists.
Guests are invited, if possible, to dress or have accessories with some reference to this period.
