Muireann Nic Amhlaoibh and Dónal O'Connor are among the most respected and acclaimed artists on the Irish music scene. Both grew up in Irish-speaking families where traditional music has been practised for generations. A great voice of sean-nós, Muireann won the RTE Radio 1 Folk Award for Best Traditional Performer in 2022 for her sumptuous album Róisín ReImagined, recorded with the Irish Chamber Orchestra. Dónal is a multi-instrumentalist (with bands such as Ulaid and At First Light), an acclaimed producer, a television and radio presenter, and co-founder and artistic director of Belfast TradFest. The Irish Times describes him as a "fearless musical adventurer". With their characteristic generosity, these two fantastic musicians will perform a timeless programme of songs in Irish and English in the beautiful setting of the chapel.
