Miller's Crossing

This film made by the Coen brothers in 1990 sees gangster Tom Reagan play two rival gangs off against each other in a Prohibition-era power struggle. Containing references to many other gangster films and "films noirs", Miller's Crossing was designated by Time magazine in 2005 as one of the 100 greatest movies made since the inception of the periodical.
