Based in Dublin and led by Irish composer Norah Constance Walsh, this chamber choir has a repertoire that stretches the divide between popular contemporary music and classical contemporary, with a special interest in Irish contemporary. Following concerts at IMMA, The Freemasons Hall, The French Embassy and Trinity College Dublin, Mellow Tonics are in Paris to perform in the intimate surroundings of CCI’s chapel. Their wonderfully varied programme ranges from works by contemporary Irish composers Ian Wilson and Norah Constance Walsh and by Irish rock band The Stunning to traditional Irish and Breton songs.
