Every year, the Maison des Ecrivains Etrangers et des Traducteurs (MEET) of Saint-Nazaire publishes a bilingual journal, meet. Literature by novelists and poets is chosen from two countries that are on different sides of the world. Their sixteenth issue, Quito/Dublin, highlights Irish and Ecuadorian writers. Hadrien Laroche (writer and literary advisor of the review) presents works by Aidan Higgins, Colm Tóibín, Dermot Bolger, Anne Enright, John Banville, Claire Kilroy, Seamus Heaney, Colum McCann and Robert McLiam Wilson.
This literary evening to present the journal will be held in the presence of writer Patrick Deville (prix Femina 2012, literary director of MEET), Hadrien Laroche, John O’Brien (director of Dalkey Archive Press) and will include readings by Robert McLiam Wilson and Claire Kilroy.
