As part of our 15th anniversary celebrations, two special days of visits and demonstrations:
- Guided tours of the Old Library presenting the treasures of the collection : three illuminated manuscripts that date from the Middle Ages : 2pm - 5pm (tours departing every half hour until 4.30pm).
- A chance to visit our two current exhibitions Many Worlds and The Living Book
- Doors open for all to visit Saint Patrick’s chapel
- Books, magazines, CDs, films and many more resources on Ireland’s heritage and contemporary culture available for all to consult in the Médiathèque
- Demonstration of book restoration by Masters students and their teacher from the University of Paris 1

And events for all to enjoy:
- Irish culture and language taster (Saturday at 2pm)
- Curator’s talk in the exhibition The Living Book (Saturday at 3pm)
- Irish fairytales and legends by storyteller Aliénor Billot (Sunday 3pm: Fionn MacCumhaill and 4pm: The Children of Lir – in French, for 7 year olds and upward)
