John Lalor

John Lalor is a graduate of Limerick School of Art, Ireland. He has lived in France since 1988 and has exhibited widely in both countries, most recently with 'Groupe Laura' in Tours. John Lalor is an active member of "Glassbox an artists-run space" in Paris.
His work contains text, image and painting in multiples which often reveal a linear landscape to the expense of the singular image. The artist's texts are written in English and in French; his concerns are about marks in an inexplicable universe, the significance of words and also journeys through painting, film and video.
