The Live Drawing Project
Do take part in this fun interactive drawing installation organised as part of our Rentrée evening in conjunction with Culture Night and the Embassy of France in Ireland.
The Live Drawing Project is a real-time digital journey bringing Ireland and France together to share in an interactive drawing session. CCI will be video projecting drawings made by you, using your phone as a drawing pad, onto the wall of our lecture room as well as on-line. Wherever you are, you can draw with all the other participants in France and Ireland (Rio, Algiers or even Tokyo!) and watch your creations appearing live together!! Special guest Tomm Moore (Cartoon Saloon co-founder and animator of Brendan of Kells) will be taking part together with Stephen Brandes and other artists. Our partner, the Embassy of France in Ireland will be simultaneously showcasing the live drawings on the wall of the National Gallery in Dublin. Great for adults and kids alike, do join us at CCI or from the comfort of your home.
Watch this space for the link on the night.
The online drawing platform will be open as from 5pm for you to practice.
In Paris, drawings will be visible online and at CCI from 6.30pm to 9.30pm local French time; in Dublin, from 8pm to 10.30pm local Irish time. You can therefore carry on drawing until 11.30pm!
