It has taken only two albums for Dublin singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Eithne Ní Chatháin aka Inni-K to convince critics and audiences with her fresh and graceful indie-folk. For Saint Patrick’s Day, she returns to the CCI to celebrate the release of her new album with us. Iníon is a return to Eithne’s first love: sean nós. Accompanied by her musicians, she charms us tonight with her delicate voice and rendition of traditional ballads.
To begin with, Saelkie Folk (Maureen O’Donoghue and Jordan Kay) get us in the mood with traditional songs and ballads from Ireland, Scotland and France in a contemporary style.
Inni-K is also giving a Traditional singing masterclass on 16 March and is the special guest of our Gaulín Traditional Singers’ Club on 18 March, in association with An Ghaeltacht-sur-Seine.
