Following her delightful performance of The Wheelchair on my Face in 2012, Sonya Kelly returns to the CCI with a tearfully funny, tender memoir about securing an Irish visa for her Australian partner. They met. They fell in love. Now all they have to do is prove it to the government beyond any reasonable doubt. But that’s the thing about relationships: doubt. Join her madcap odyssey from the stony townlands of Ireland to the leafy depths of the Queensland bush. It’s a tricky business coming from opposite ends of the earth. It takes an Olympian will and the heart of whale, but above all else, paperwork. It takes a hell of a lot of paperwork.

Winner Best Production (Tiger Dublin Fringe 2014)

“Unflaggingly hilarious… It is the funniest, most touching of love stories, its open-heartedness a rarity in this cynical age.” (Sunday Independent)

“Wry, tender and imaginative, here is a stirring dossier of an accelerated romance. Exquisite.” (***** The Irish Times)

“This show is simply ‘beautiful’ and you won’t want to miss it.” (***** The Public Reviews)
