History: World Revolution, World War: 1916

Our second conference on the subject of revolutions in national and international relationships will treat events around the Easter Rising and the Battle of Verdun.

Taking part will be the writer and Journalist Roger Faligot, Le Peuple des Enfants (Le Seuil, 2004) and James Connolly (Terre de Brume, 1997), and Kevin Whelan Historian and Director of The Keough Notre Dame Centre Dublin. His last works include Acts of Union (Four Courts Press, 2001) and 1798: bicentenary essays (Four Courts Press, 2003).
