Glen Hansard

Recognized as one of the best songwriters of his generation and known for his on stage banter and all around ability to entertain, Glen Hansard is an Academy Award winning singer songwriter who was born in Dublin.

He is the vocalist and guitarist for the musical groups, The Swell Season and The Frames. The Frames have to date released six critically acclaimed records and been recognized as one of the best live bands on the planet. The Swell Season has toured the world twice over. In 2008 “Falling Slowly”, from the film Once starring Glen Hansard and Marketa Irglová, won an Academy Award for Best Original Song.

Glen comes to Paris, as part of his European tour, as a solo artist with new material and old.
