With Frédéric Aurier, Julien Dieudegard (violins), Julian Boutin (alto), Luc Dedreuil (cello) and Garth Knox (alto, viola d'amore)
Garth Knox returns to the CCI in the company of the Bela Quartet, one of the most adventurous and exciting string groups in France. The concert will be centered round two quintets: the first performance of Simon Mawhinney's "In all the worlds" for the unusual combination of viola d'amore and string quartet, and Garth Knox's "The Weaver's Grave", a composition based on Irish traditional themes, inspired by the book by Seamus O'Kelly.
