Every year, Feis Ceoil sees the best of young Irish musical talent gather for the 180 competitions of its unique festival.
The CCI has the pleasure of welcoming the winner of Feis Ceoil’s 2022 Mabel Swainson Award, pianist Rachel O’Hara, to play in the chapel this weekend. Originally from Wicklow and a student of Thérèse Fahy, Rachel O’Hara has won many prizes and performed in numerous venues in Ireland including the National Concert Hall, the Royal Irish Academy of Music and the RDS Concert Hall. Her repertoire at the CCI includes works by the Irish composer Conor Linehan as well as Haydn and Messiaen.
