Diana Copperwhite won the prestigious AIB award for emerging artists in 2007 which has led to this ambitious exhibition of large-scale paintings, watercolours and drawings together with an animation piece. Exploring "reality, memory and fantasy" is one of the primary concerns of the artist. The fluid quality of her reworked surfaces suggests recollection in the mind’s eye or a sense of mental space rather than objects and scenes frozen in time. Her drawings attest to the myriad of lateral associations that filter into her work from media images but also personal experience.

This exhibition is organised in collaboration with the West Cork Arts Centre.
